This is not my first stay at this hotel, and I have had very positive impressions in the past. However, after this recent experience, I am questioning whether I will return.
Firstly, during breakfast, there were not enough staff members attending to guests. Additionally, I noticed that only certain groups of guests were asked if they wanted coffee or tea, which made us feel subtly excluded and treated differently. This kind of invisible disparity is disappointing and should not happen in a hotel of this caliber.
Secondly, I accidentally cut my hand in the bathroom and went to the front desk to ask for a bandage. To my surprise, the staff informed me that the hotel does not provide such basic first aid items and suggested I go to the pharmacy across the street. I was truly shocked that a five-star hotel lacks even the most basic medical supplies and showed no concern for how a guest might have been injured. This lack of care and preparedness is unacceptable.
I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and provides better training for its staff to ensure a more welcoming and professional experience for all guests.
