Really cool place with travelers all over the world , my 4-people room had a window to the hall lol

Amazing hotel in the middle of Chengdu. We went with friends for few nights and were absolutely satisfied with everything.

The staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything. You can ask them to help book train tickets, taxis, find food, everything. Jenny and Amy are particularly nice and love to talk to all guests. The other guests here are also very very nice. I met an Indian guy here and somehow traveled around Chengdu with him.

First, shoutout to the staff, because they were all superb, very helpful, friendly, and on top of everything - spoke great English. The hostel itself has a really nice bar area with daily live music. The cocktails and coffee are amazing, and there are also reasonably priced breakfast options (that I personally haven't tried) that you can enjoy indoors or outdoors. The hostel offers daily activities and access to tours and private drivers, so you may want to check it out before you book yourself for something. Location-wise, there is a metro stop a short walk away, and taxis never had issues finding the hostel, but you'll always be picked up on the other side of the street. It's within a walking distance from the Wenshu Monastery, and therefore street food area - very convenient. My room was a four-people bedroom (female only) and the room itself, although small, it was clean. So were the bedsheets. The towels are not provided, so bring your own, but shower gel and shampoo are. Having bathroom inside the room is definitely convenient, but can be a nightmare if your roommates come back and use a hair dryer at 1am. It's not the hostel's fault, but pointing it out as something you may want to consider discussing with your roommates. Each person in the room will have a locker assigned too (mine didn't have a lock, but the others' did, so you may want to check that with the staff. Personally, I wasn't bothered). There is also a communal fridge and washing machine (for an extra fee) on the second floor. Overall, I'd say it was a great experience and a nice hang-out spot in Chengdu!

First encounter with their reception staff at check-in was unpleasant because one gave me the wrong room number, and the other made me felt like an intruder through her crud way of checking my passport. Room would have this musty or even sewage-liked smell every now and then. Fresh towels had visible stains. And a big chunk of the painting fell from the ceiling unexpectedly. Thankful that the fall wasn’t from above my head.

I had an amazing stay here! The staff and the people at the hostel were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. It was really easy to meet other travelers, and the atmosphere made me feel at home from the first day. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a great stay in Chengdu. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely stay here again if I come back to Chengdu. Thank you for making my trip so memorable!

Great hostel in a good location! Staff are really lovely and the events are good especially as a solo traveler - the tours booked through the hostel are also cheaper than what you would see online. The only thing to note is that downstairs is a (fancier) bar in the evenings - this means that from around 9pm particularly on the weekends there is no common space to play cards etc. The bathrooms in the rooms are also a bit open air, so you and everyone else in the room will hear each other go to the bathroom clearly and smell it. Not a dealbreaker just something to note if that bothers you.
