Amazing hotel, clean very modern and very great staff helpful

Fantastic, informative staff who are helpful and friendly in every way. We had initially booked to stay for two nights and were due to move to another hotel for our final night. We loved the hotel so much that we extended our stay at the Helios. This was not a problem for the wonderful reception staff. Pool area was lovely and food at the bar was fresh, tasted lovely and very reasonably priced. Drinks were good value too. Staff here were so friendly too. Room was immaculate with water and wine in the room. (The wine was because they thought we were returning guests, which we weren’t, but we will be in the future)! All in all, an excellent hotel. Would absolutely recommend.

We were very very impressed with the Helios, thanks to Natalia and all the team for an excellent experience. The Hotel and apartment was spotless and newly furnished, food very high standard and varied every day with choices to suit everyone. We stayed off season and felt the hotel and surrounding area was quiet and safe for families. It's close to the quieter C'an Pastilla end of the beach and most of the other tourists were families or serious cycling enthusiasts on tours around the island. Kids Activities in the area included the beach, which is 1 block/2 minute walk from the hotel. The Aquarium is about 10 minutes away (it's great), and there are two kids playgrounds about a 15 minute walk south to Parque Bosque La Ribera. Bicycles can be rented from the friendly shop just beside the hotel for about 8 euro a day, including baby-chair and helmets. The local town is a 10 minute walk up the beach and it has an excellent public medical centre. Unfortunately our toddler became poorly on the trip, however we were seen within 15 minutes by a great doctor there who spoke excellent english, and there was no cost or hassle as we had our EHIC cards. We stayed in the Apartment part of the Hotel Complex which can be reached in a 1 minute walk from the lobby, passing the spa/indoor pool area, a small playground, crazy golf and table tennis area. There are lots of restaurants and shops and a pharmacy nearby, but we dined at the hotel every evening as the buffet was so good. Thanks in particular to Chef Salah for being so welcoming to our child. So overall this hotel is really really excellent! If you've got kids with you, the apartment block is a good choice as it has a kitchen/living area and balcony that you can use after the kids have gone to sleep. We didn't notice any noise from the elevator and although we could hear the occasional plane taking off it was quiet and brief and didn't disturb us at all.
