Kimpton Aysla Mallorca, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was a great find for my spouse and I. We wanted to stay outside of Palma for a more relaxed and quiet setting and Kimpton Aylsa delivered in every way. Our stay was for six nights in late March as we wanted to avoid the high season of June to August. Late March is cool 15c to 19c. However, as Canadians, this was warmer than Ottawa. This was a good time to visit as not many tourists were around so you can really enjoy the sites of Mallorca and the cool temperatures made siteseeing enjoyable. Warm clothes and rain gear are recommended as the weather on the island varies greatly in March. Moving around the island was easy to visit the Palma Cathedral / Palace, Port Andratx, Valdemossa (Mountain Village) and Sant Elm(Hiked the sa Dragonera island to see the Gekos) and many other places. The hotel staff was great in arranging our taxis and our siteseeing destinations. If your a golfer, the hotel is close to a golf course. This was our first time to Mallorca and the hotel staff made our stay very memorable and we are definitely planning to return during the summer months to enjoy the hot weather and stunning beaches.

Excellent in all ways. Fabulous room. Comfortable bed. ALL staff including cleaning went above and beyond. Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful recharge. Spa great, 30 min a walk to Santa ponsa. E7 taxi back. Food great, service a bit slow in Saba but I am sure they will rectify this. Breakfast excellent (especially the cook doing omelette/eggs). All staff lovely. Although I have a holiday house in Mallorca it is still nice to spend a few days being spoilt and catching up with friends on this part of the island. I will most certainly be back in May! Definitely recommend.

A fantastic stay in the always wonderful Kimpton brand. I've never stayed in a Kimpton outside the US that hasn't excelled and Kimpton Majorca is no exception. The Service was great, particularly the front desk and concierge teams. Breakfast was very good, but besides that I would say some items on the menu varied in quality. For example the Room service burger was excellent but the off peak club wrap was poor. The room was spacious, modern and had all the amenities one would expect from a 5 star establishment - excellent. I had an issue with my rental car being scratched by another car whilst parked at the hotel, and what could have been a very frustrating experience was handled professionally without a problem by the staff. With Tennis and golf facilities within walking distance and the ability to borrow an ebike to take a 5-10 minute ride down to the beach the hotel covers all the activities I would want. Highly recommended and would happily stay again when in Majorca.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Stunning rooms which felt more like a spa suite than a room. Loved the smells around the property (so much so I bought the diffuser). Beautiful spa. Gorgeous balcony accessible via the rain shower or bedroom. Location is on the outskirts of town but perfect for those who want to be tucked away in a luxury sanctuary. Worth hiring a car. The Asian restaurant was very very good. We usually always go for adults only hotels but this one still felt very peaceful despite it being family friendly. Wasn’t too busy. A perfect little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle. Staff were very lovely
