Jinjiang Inn(Beijing Tongzhou Beiyuan Subway Station)

The hotel was near the Metro but quite away from city center. Beijing is a very crowded city, therefore taking the metro any time any day is super busy, thus making the commute to attractions and back to hotel quite tiring. This is not the hotel’s fault, just a heads up for visitors traveling with young or old family members to be aware of. The road from metro to hotel is not very luggage friendly either,  again not the hotel’s fault. Staff were helpful if one has a question, otherwise they keep to themselves most of the time. Room was clean. Housekeeping changed towels every day even though we had the towels hung neatly on the wall brackets. No coffee packets in the room, just teabags, but not a big problem since there is a mall right opposite the metro station, where eateries, a small supermarket and bakery exist.

Location is near a local mall and Universal studio. They checked weapon when you return to hotel. I think it is quite weird policy because other 3 big hotels I stayed before in China after check - in staff will not bother you at all. I stayed in both premium and standard room size of room is the same but stand room made me felt like I stayed in hospital rather than hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was close to the metro station and shops, restaurants. If you planning to visit the universal studio. I think it’s good idea
