The Palm Grove Villas

프론트 직원분이 너무 친절하게 여러가지 일을 도와주셔서 아주 좋았습니다. 숙소는 조금 낡았지만 mushroom bay와 아주 가깝고 근처에 식당들이 많아서 지내기 좋은 곳이었습니다. 다만 레스토랑 직원분들은 조금 지쳐보였습니다.

環境還行， 設施有點老，位置可以

The palm grove on Nusa Lembongan was the second destination of 3. It was this centre part of the trip I had been looking forward to the most, However it turned out to be more of an endurance test. On the surface the palm grove villas looks amazing but the filth and hygiene was way below standard. We were incredibly disappointed with the whole island, as you will see below in the pictures. If you were worried about contracting the dreaded Bali Belly on your trip give this one a miss! Raw meat comes in on unrefrigerated boats clumped in carrier bags next to veg etc. Then on the beach it’s put on the back of a hot scooter to distribute to various eateries. Our program promises a speed boat transfer, it was in fact the fast boat ferry from Sanur to Nusa Lembongan, if you are young great, but at 60 when the tide is out on the island and you have to step unaided from a rickety unsteady crammed boat onto the fast boat 20 mtrs out at sea think again. My husband ate some chicken at a highly recommended bar on the beach Hai Bar and Grill. 7 days later £400 pounds gone in doctors bills and a diogonosis of Bacteria and parasites in his gut. My husband seriously ill, 2x IV drips and 9 different ***** to take. We could not even contemplate seeing a doctor on Nusa we waited to get back to the main land and our next destination Swarga Suites in canggu. They were amazing and my husband is finally well enough to get home.

Great little hotel with lovely attentive staff,rooms were very clean,comfortable bed and nice linens.Beach towels also provided.Fridge stocked with soft drinks free of charge which was nice.Spa onsite,book exchange which I thought was a nice little touch when traveling.They provide a taxi service at extra cost.Great restaurant right across the road,nice breakfast with a good selection of food,pool was lovely and always plenty of beds available.A couple of minutes walk to the beach with more restaurants and bars,Mushroom beach is really quiet and nice to swim at.

Stayed for 5 night. Beautiful surrounding with very well kept gardens. We were in the quiter part of the resort which has 2 swimming pools. Villas get cleaned everyday with change of bedlinen, towels and restock of water, tea and coffee. Staff are friendly and helpful. BBQ hour in the evening is very popular therefore ensure to book a table even if you reside at the villas as the restaurant gets busy in the evenings. Toilet and shower are outside but still sheltered, not sure this is to everyone's liking. Shops and other restaurants are all short walks from the villas. The beach is 5mins walk away with a few choices of restaurants and bars. My one disappointment was the lack of vegetarian options but this was generally my experience wherever I stayed in Bali.

Positives.. Pools are nice and the overall layout is good. Breakfast is not buffet but a good choice of freshly made options. Location is great. A 2 minute walk to the beach. We did not eat at their restaurant in the evening but it was busy. Negatives.. Rooms need some tlc. We stayed in number 4 and the bathroom was really tired. Other rooms for the same cost were better. Service on the pool was pretty much non existent. They didn’t offer drinks, collect rubbish and even when we ordered from the bar they were happy to watch you struggle with 5 drinks rather than help. It was a bit annoying as they mainly sat at a screen doing very little. This hotel was just ok. I would not book it if returning.
