I booked a double bed room but was initially assigned Room 100, a small, cramped single-bed room on the first floor. This was clearly not what I had reserved. After raising the issue with Trip.com, they were responsive and offered compensation by upgrading me to the correct room type on the spot.
However, the double bed room was still underwhelming. It had no basic amenities apart from towels and toilet paper — no cups, no toothbrush, no kettle, no fridge, and no working TV. I had to go to the lobby just to get hot water, though there was a self-service coffee machine available with free-flow coffee.
Cleanliness was also a major issue. The room was dirty, with hairs on the floor and even on the bed, which was very off-putting.
Overall, I found the experience disappointing. The lack of basic amenities, cleanliness issues, and the mix-up with the room type made it feel like poor value for money. Would think twice before staying here again.
